The purpose of tutoring is to provide Iola Roberts Elementary students the opportunity for additional help in the areas of reading and math.  Your student was selected based on the beginning of the year STAR data and grades that indicate a little extra instruction will help him/her to be more successful in these areas. Tutoring will be offered Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. beginning September 27th  and ending December 15th. This tutoring will consist of small group instruction with one or more teachers.

Students will not be allowed to attend tutoring unless they have a signed tutoring contract on file with the school.  Students are expected to attend tutoring each Tuesday and Thursday.  Students must be picked up in the car rider line promptly at 4:30 each day.  Students will not be allowed to continue tutoring if they are late being picked up.

If a student becomes disruptive, the parent or guardian will be contacted.  If the same student becomes disruptive a second time, they will not be allowed to attend tutoring for the remainder of the year.

My student and I have read and understand the conditions of this contract.  We agree to abide by the dismissal policies outlined above regarding discipline and prompt pick up.
